sfcolleges.co.uk was launched in August 2009 as a one stop shop portal for Sixth Form Colleges in the UK education sector.

The principle behind the portal is to provide potential students with a guide to colleges in their area and to encourage participation in education.

The site has been designed and written by professionals currently working in sixth form colleges; from marketing professionals to teachers themselves.

As the weeks pass we hope to add much more content to the website from study hints and tips for students, extensive links, student newsletters and offers and competitions as we build partnerships with other organisations operating in the sector.

We hope to gain large scale support from the colleges themselves in order to populate their own sections of the website and give visitors the most comprehensive guide to study at their sixth form.

We would love to receive feedback on our service and also submissions from colleges in the shape of news releases etc.
